YCC Membership

Established YCC members are very approachable and many will offer to help you get started as a new Yorkshire Canary breeder.

We know how hard it is to obtain Yorkies in the UK unless you are already 'in the know.'

Quality birds are seldom available at general UK sales events, so getting hold of stock is a major problem affecting our hobby.

As a NEW YCC MEMBER we will:

• Put you in touch with your local regional club secretary, who is in a position to introduce you to established Yorkshire Canary breeders in your local area.

• Advise you when and where you nearest local Yorkshire Canary specialist show will take place.

• Provide you with a current YCC handbook, containing names and addresses of members and essential relevant information about the hobby.

• YCC members enjoy access to YCC publications at HALF PRICE - that alone pays for membership!!!

• YCC breeders have access to closed personalised club rings - no guesswork on the age or origin of our birds!

• We have asked members to make a special effort to ensure there are sales birds available at realistic prices at the main YCC show in October, with new starters in mind.
